Grandmaster Schuster (as he’s known to our Tae Kwon Do students) graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Elementary Education. He grew up watching the Karate Kid trilogy and Chuck Norris movies and is a huge Bruce Lee fan. He has nearly four decades of Tae Kwon Do experience and served for many years as the technical director for an international Tae Kwon Do association. On the Jiu-Jitsu side (where he’s known as Professor Schuster), he has nearly two decades of experience and routinely trains with his instructors, Luiz Claudio and Thiago Vega (black belts under Rickson Gracie). He demonstrates a sincere dedication to his students and their progress and is always willing to answer their individual questions. Grandmaster/Professor Schuster is known for bringing energy, excitement, commitment, passion, and humor to every class he teaches.
